LittleBaron
Hello, I need (or rather, really really want) to have NPC 2 chime in with a little bit of info during a dialogue with NPC 1. I have tried setting NPC 2 as the 'speaker' of the dialogues I wanted them to say within NPC 1's Branch, but that resulted in NPC 1 speaking the lines with NPC 2's voice, or ending the dialogue prematurely if I tried to specify NPC 2 in the conditions. Next I tried breaking the convo up into three seperate branches... NPC 1, NPC 2, NPC 1 again, and linked the branches together with 'invisible continue' links. This once again resulted in the dialogue stopping at the first NPC 1 branch. Anyone have an idea how to do this (seemingly shoulda been relatively simple) trick? Or know of a tutorial that covers it? As I always do before asking, I searched here and then tried a google and found nada. Thanks in advance! LB
fg109
I think you'll need to start a scene in order to get a second NPC to chime in. But I don't think it would be very practical if this is some sort of weird "twins finishing each other's sentences" thing, since that would mean a LOT of scenes. I haven't tried making a scene before, so I don't know how to do it. You can check out the CK wiki Scene page and video tutorials page.
