Creating a medieval city buildings tileset...

Low poly and good looking would allow the creation of big interesting cities.

 

I was baffled when I entered the creation kit and discovered every single house and building in Skyrim is not made of tiles that can be rearranged according to your imagination, but entire buildings that cant be modified.

 

Thus, I want to create, luckily with help, a medieval buildings tileset. I am experienced with Sketchup (and yes, Sketchup can create very good detailed models, and with the right plugins, even be a good organic modeller), but not very much with UV mapping...

 

 

what I aim to achieve... meaning, what should modders be able to create using the tileset
