[LE] Incorrect tintmask size?

Hello! I've been trying to generate some tintmasks for the npcs in my game, and at first it told me my tintmasks had to be 256x256 in size. So, I used ordenador to reduce the size of the tintmasks (Makeup, warpaint, etc.) to 256x256. Problem is, when I try to generate them, it still give me the same error. At first I thought it was because I was using ModOrganizer, so I tried it A) without any body mods, so just the tintmask textures, and B) without ModOrganizer. It gave me the same error. If it's any help, when I reduced the textures, I had the following options checked:

Delete unnecessary files

Mipmaps (make if not mipmaps)

Resize patterns (16x16)

Resize down

In ordenador, at first I used 512x512 multiple times to make sure every file was 512x512, then I used "all" in Resize down to half the resolution of every file once more, so everything was 256x256.

I'm going to try removing mipmaps, and see if that makes the files work, and I'll update if it does or doesn't.

Any help is appreciated.

Update: Removing mipmaps had no effect on the error.

How do you try to generate tintmasks and what software is telling you this? The size of 256x256 would really look horrible. Look at this tutorial. It is perhaps not exactly what you need but should give you an understanding of some things: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/156-creating-and-adding-new-warpaints/

I'm trying to export facegendata on creation kit. I read that doing so would update tintmasks with whatever new textures you are using. When I first tried, with a mix of 2k and 1k textures, it told me the tintmask textures had to be 256x256 or less. So, I reduced the texture sizes to 256x256, yet it's still telling me the same errors.

If there is a way to export facegendata in a higher resolution, and for a large batch of NPCs all at once, that would be even better, but there's really not a lot of documentation on this stuff.
