pksky
I recently got a new laptop with a nice Nvidia 1070 8gb card that can play pretty much anything and I reinstalled both my Legendary and SSE. On my old laptop, which wasn't good enough to run the highest res or settings, I had about 150 mods, tried a couple less-demanding ENBs and other than some framerates dropping to slideshows at times, it ran pretty well, almost no crashes. I never played SSE on it. What should I go with on the new PC? This will sort of be a fresh start so I'm wondering what the best combo is? I only used Mod Organizer and loved the way it worked with the virtual data and being able to make different profiles and easily add/remove mods. Is there a "best" mod manager? Should I just port over all my Mod Organizer stuff and easily recreate what I had before, or start fresh with something new? Is there much difference with SSE or is installing an ENB on original better (or ENB on top of SSE?)
thumbincubation
May as well get SE. With SKSE now, more of the big mods are being ported over, and 64 bit opens quite a few doors.
pksky
Okay thanks! I'll probably play SSE but continuing to use Mod Organizer, since I'm familiar with it and I should be able to simply copy all the files into the same directories. thumbincubation
I've never used MO, and only used NMM very briefly, to be able to turn a modder's resource on and off. I've been kind of holding out for Vortex.
