First of all, I'm not sure if this is in the right area and if not then I apologize and also thank the moderator that moves it to where it is appropriate.

 

Ok, the reason I am posting this. We recently released a new ENB configuration on Nexus that while a lot of people seem to like (from the comments we do get) the majority don't seem to understand the importance of comments and feedback. I know, ANOTHER ENB?? :rolleyes: Well, this wasn't developed with the intention of uploading it. We were using this in our personal games and honestly believed that it was unique enough that we wanted to share it. It took us a while to come to that decision but since we enjoyed it so much we thought other people might like it too so we decided to make it available.

 

Now the problem. We are kind of at a loss of what to improve and which direction to go with this due to lack of feedback. I'm not asking anyone to drop their current ENB and try ours. But for those of you who are using it or want to give it a try PLEASE leave us your comments and opinions. I am NOT here endorsement hunting. If you like it and feel you want to endorse it, great. If not, that's fine too. All we are really asking for is your opinion about our configuration and what you like and don't like about it. We put a ridiculous amount of time and effort into this and the feedback is what helps keep us going whether it is positive or negative. Without your input, there isn't a lot of point in us continuing to keep working on this and wasting all of our time and hard work. Either way, we will still keep developing and improving this for ourselves and a few others who have supported us. We just won't bother to upload it.

 

So right now without your feedback we are totally in the dark here. The only conclusions we can come to right now are:

 

A) People haven't really heard about it yet since the only way to even know it exists is either by word of mouth or running across it doing a search for ENB on Nexus.

 

B) People like it but really can't be bothered with taking the time to leave a comment. The notorious Nexus hit and run.

 

C) We made an ENB that we love and enjoy and only a few others share the same taste that we do. Sort of a niche ENB.

 

D) It is such a steaming pile of feces that people want to get away from there as fast as they can so they can wipe the horrible images from their mind.

 

 

So if any current, past, or future users can please keep in mind that YOU are the driving force behind this and let us know what you want and enjoy we will do our utmost to tailor this to your expectations. Until then, we are just going to have to keep trying to guess and read minds which is a talent neither one of us possesses.

I cant seem to come up with other words than: amazing!..

 

It looks soooo close to reality(at least on my monitors) - I will definately download it and see if it fits in better than my current enb-mod..

 

Problem is the night contra light sources gets way too dark on my monitors.. But this is just.. Perfect..

As far as the lighting. Did you remember to run the realistic lighting patcher in your Skyrim/Data folder? If not, the lighting will not look like it should. Just go to Skyrim/Data and click on the realistic lighting patcher .jar file and run it. It only takes a couple of seconds to run and will make the lighting look like it is meant to. :thumbsup:

Ahh.. Might be that, have noticed the patcher, but thought it was meant for something else, so I didnt enable that haha. Thx man.

 

I will try to come with a more, usable feedback later, when Ive got it up and running as its meant to.. :-)

perhaps this will sound stupid... but how do i use ENB mods? I feel like when i download them I'm missing a step or injector or something... O.o

Nope. Not stupid at all. We all had to start some time. :)

 

No ENB can be installed with NMM or any other mod manager. They have to be manually installed. We have very detailed instructions on our page for installation of ENB. If you have any questions ask me here or just send me a pm and I will be happy to help. :thumbsup:

We just wanted to thank those people who did support us and leave comments. But due to the vast majority of people not bothering to leave any feedback, we will be taking this mod down. With the ridiculous amount of time and effort put into this and people not bothering to take one minute of their time to leave a comment, whether it be positive or negative, we feel this is just a waste of time and energy. Now we know why some of the best modders on Nexus refuse to ever release another mod. And neither will we.

 

Without people's involvement and feedback, it is very difficult to know what to improve. Positive comments are nice, but constructive criticism is what helps to make mods improve. So take a minute and leave a comment on the mods you use. It is really appreciated and extremely helpful.

 

And for those of you who do enjoy our mod feel free to send me a pm and I will be happy to send you a copy for your own personal use but we will not be releasing anything ever again.
