pyroatheist
I just installed a bunch of mods, and now there's a large problem. None of the characters in the game, npc or my own, will move. They all stand sorta stiffly with their arms held slightly away from their sides, and instead of moving, they just glide around. When I load a saved game, it gives me a little warning about assets no longer being there, and then my character simply shows up as how I described. Sneaking doesn't work, and neither does sheathing or taking out weapons. Any help? Heres a list of the mods I installed: CBBE v3.1.2 (already installed before, reinstalled it)Remodeled armor v3.4 for CBBE (same as above)sporty cbbe muscle mapApachii Skyhair v1.3 (same as above)bowlegged jump fixcoverwomen/eyesimproved npc clothingmomo acrobatic backflip/frontflipno helmet mod v1.5path of shadowsskyrim hd 2k textures lite dungeons/townssounds of skyrim dungeons/wildsvurts skyrim flora overhaul I also have the skyrim monster mod, killable children, and skyui installed. All of the mods above were installed manually. Any ideas?
Tidus44
It is not a good idea to load more than one mod at a time. Mods should be loaded one at a time and then tested to ensure there is no significant issues created before loading the next mod. If the game was working before the mod installation, you need to start shutting the mods off one at a time and seeing if this fixes the problem. This is going to be a bit more difficult because you have manually installed mods and thus each will need to be removed manually in order to test. Disabling the esp may not solve the problem, especially if manually installing a mod has overwritten files.
pyroatheist
Fair enough. I disabled all of the esps already, and it didn't fix anything. Do you have any ideas which of the mods could have caused the problem?

Do you have any ideas which of the mods could have caused the problem? I only use 3 of the mods you have listed (SkyUI, Improved NPC Clothing and Path of Shadows) so I have no knowledge if any of the others have some issue and have not seen anything posted elsewhere. Those 3 are not causing me any problems, but with different mods its hard to say. You do not have a lot of mods running, and it may be worth while to go to each mod web page and read the comments and see if any have an identified issue and possibly a fix listed. My thought is that you have animation mods listed and the game NPC animations are not working properly, so that would be the place I'd start - the animation mods loaded. When I load a saved game, it gives me a little warning about assets no longer being there This is a normal message after deleting a mod because the last saved game will have held information about the mod. Those assets are gone once the mod is deleted so the game warns you that something has changed. If you get this message and have not deleted a mod, that means some mod is missing a file. But the game does not identify which so it becomes a search to find out which one. If a game file is missing - it will usually CTD right at the start.
