selectivewreckage
Long story short, I had to do a factory install of Windows onto my PC and have begun the process of re-installing all my mods. For the most part it's gone smoothly, but for a few of them (most notably Immersive Armors), I've been unable to install them, due to to getting a "Could not extract files: File is corrupted" message after downloading and attempting to activate the mod. If it helps, I was previously encountering an error with downloading the mod (similar to the error described here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1210644-there-was-an-error-registering-this-mod/), but resolved that by following the troubleshooting process outlined here https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1210644-there-was-an-error-registering-this-mod/?p=55766126 So now I'm able to download the mod, just not activate it Edited August 16, 2018 by selectivewreckage
WastelandAssassin
this usually happens when downloads suffer unplanned stops . this could be due to a failure in your internet connection , a power outage etcand it is more common with larger files , simply due to their size and therefore download timethe fix is to simply delete the file and download it againjust today I had to download 3 large mods again due to exactly this issue , so it happens from time to timebut it's nothing crazy or hard to solve , and it's almost always a problem on your end (unless someone uploads a corrupt archive , or something like that)

selectivewreckage
So I've tried removing it and re-downloading it multiple times now, both on my standard and 5G connection and still no luck, still getting the same corrupted data message =/
WastelandAssassin
if you look in your downloads folder , is the file the full size? because when downloads are interrupted , it usually means getting an incomplete archive , which you can tell as it's smaller in size than the original (you can compare the size stated on the download section of the Nexus mod's page) also if manual download doesn't work , maybe try downloading through whatever mod manager you use? I know for a fact that mod isn't corrupt , as I've downloaded it yesterday myself with no issuesso maybe see about troubleshooting your connection , as I believe this is the source of your issues , but I'm not certain about this
