Jdsdude
What are the best mods (workshop or nexus) that increase fps a/o allow for higher graphic settings/demands. Skyboost used to be good but that has since slowed significantly/permanently in development.
uk33
I use one called Proformance mod, it was just a d3d9.dll but when used my graphics auto detected to the next setting up. I got it from Nexus but its not there anymore, probably got removed ages ago because it was a file type that Nexus doesn't allow.

JasonPWalker
Have you tried searching "FPS" in Nexus? Something's bound to show up.

I searched for it and tried to find it somewhere else on the internet but wasnt anything of the same name "Skyrim Better Performance Mod" is the d3d9.dll file. It's not here but it's still on a few other websites. One place says it only works for Nvidia cards, other website says either Nvidia or ATi.And apparently it works up to Skyrim version 1.3, after that the changes to transparency are already added to the update I guess. I used to stutter in Markarth and Windhelm, what made those cities smooth was lowering the shadows to Medium. I used high because I'd get these weird shadow edges that looked like paper burning, on peoples faces when set to medium. I'm not sure if it was an update or the Shadow Striping Fix that removed those burning face shadow edges, but other than that I can't tell much difference between Med and High shadows. (not that I really stare at shadows much)
