Dynasty Armor Collection

Dynasty Armor (original mod by ken1945) link is an excellent example of a fantasy armor mod that has inspired additional mods that create variations on the meshes and textures.

 

I've been compiling all of the mesh and texture resources for Dynasty armor that I can find. I do okay with switching existing meshes and textures around, but I'm still new to creating complex mods and currently lost when dealing with Blender (meshes) and to some extent GIMP (textures and glow maps).

If anyone with blender skills can contribute/release split greaves and boots meshes from the original Dynasty Armor mod in a manor compatible with the original cuirass and gauntlets, I would be most grateful.

Additional colored glow maps (only have white) and generic menu icons would also be appreciated.

 

The long-term plan is to try to develop a mod that would allow in-game changing of Dynasty meshes and textures using techniques from mods such as BUFramework link.

 

Why? Great mods that inspire additional mods can end up taking many slots when only one may be used at a time. I'm hoping the process of building this mod could be applied to other mods that are all variations of the same pieces.

 

Why Dynasty Armor? I've fiddled with other mods that have several mesh and texture options before, but I happened to be wrangling with this one when I thought of this idea. Any as I said, Dynasty Armor seems like a great example of "Fantasy Armor"; not too realistic but not excessively unreal.

 

As of yet, I have not released anything as I am still trying to determine if I have the time for such an undertaking before sending requests to re-use resources from the existing mods. So far, I have a mesh and texture collection with out-of-game switching and previews controlled by a massive batch file.
