Does anyone know how to enable and disable ENBs in game? I am running skyrim through bootcamp on my imac, so i have a magic keyboard, but as you probably know mac keyboards have the volume key using the F12 key, so i was wondering if there is any way to enable and disable ENBs from the game console, i want to do this with Sharpshooters, please help. Thanks

@gabototote, hi, dunno which ENB mods you're running; but, have you tried SHIFT-F12 ?

ENB mods usually have customization config file 'enbseries.ini', the [iNPUT] section is usually where you can reassign an alternate ON/OFF toggle key.

You might be looking for settings like these: 'KeyUseEffect=__' and 'KeyCombination=__'.

Depending on how the mod was designed, you might need to lookup the hex value of the new key or key combinations you want to use and

convert these to decimal values to use in the INI. All this sounds messy right?

I do not know if any of this will work using a gaming rig like an imac running bootcamp with magic keyboard.

Probably best if you search the modder's docs for info on how to do this or ask in their comments section.

@gabototote, hi, probably best if you post your question in the comments section of mod:

Sharpshooters Extreme Graphics Vision ENB - good performance by Sharpshooter8 - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15105

Open your ENBSERIES.INI and post the contents of the [iNPUT] section here.

we could try remapping the F12 key to something else by changing this setting:

KeyUseEffect=123 ('123' designates the F12 key)

to

KeyUseEffect=122 ('122' designates the F11 key)

KeyUseEffect=121 ('121' designates the F10 key)

KeyUseEffect=120 ('120' designates the F9 key)

I have no idea if this will work with Sharpshooter; also, keys F11, F10, F9 might be mapped to something else.

Here is an example of what I am talking about:

[iNPUT]

KeyUseEffect=123 // NOTE: This section is meant to allow keymapping of effects, but does not work. 'Shift-F12' always toggles 'All Effects'

KeyBloom=120 //

KeyOcclusion=121 // 'Shift-F10' always toggles the SSAO effect

KeyReflection=122 //

KeyCombination=16 //

KeyScreenshot=44 // The 'Printscreen' key captures a screenshot in your game's root folder

KeyShadow=119 //

KeyWater=118 //

KeyShowFPS=106 // The '*' key above your numeric keypad toggles a small FPS counter in the top-left of your screen

@CarlCorey, thanks for that useful tip, works nicely.

i have a feeling the ENB SHIFT-F12 key combination to toggle off all effects cannot be changed by simply

redesignating the key codes in the [iNPUT] 'KeyUseEffect=' section of enbseries.ini..

Maybe someone running ENB Sharpshooter will chime in here.
