Guys, the team is almost assembled. So i think we could start working soon (actually THEY could start, my job is already started since sometime, as you noticed).

 

About the half completed work from Alex, don't trust in it completely. We don't completely know what there is in the esp.

 

In the worst of the cases, we'll have to start the mod from scratch, just using the Alex's esp as a guideline.

 

But it may be that Alex did a perfect job on his 50% and we can just continue his work ;)

 

WiS V isn't like WiS IV, it isn't in the top 10, it isn't popular. So we have to face the fact that people are using other overhaul mods. We have to find collaborations, test compatibilities, and since Alex was outside the modding community when working on WiS V, it may be that all his work has to be revisited.

 

We'll update the community when we discover something or make some steps to the release, don't worry ;)

 

Also, don't take this post as "Alex worked for nothing are we will throw away all his work". His work is vital, but there are tons of variables we still don't know!

Well, we do not what exactly has been changed but we can find out more broadly what areas, cells, npcs, etc. etc. has been changed. We just might not know in what way

Ok so I spent a few hours going the Alexes WIS 5 to find out if we can salvage anything from there and I am afraid that we have to start from scratch.

The leveled lists nearly on every single vanila respawn point has been edited.

That is how Alex got such a crazy spawns and unpedictible spawns..

if we would use it as it is the mod would fight with every single mod that edits respawn points out there including Skytest & Skyrim Monter mod, etc.

We can't do that as we would like to be compatible with these guys.

So. Starting tomorrow I will start rebuilding the NPC's from the beginning.

Welcome to fg109 (scripter) and FrankFamily (texture designer) in the WiS V team!

 

Added a new team, wich will gather modders not belonging to any section, but instead working with any team member who needs their skills!
