DavideMitra
I created a mod with a tool called "Skyrim NPC editor".Now I'dd like to share the mod in tesnexus. But there's a big problem: I don't know if I have to ask for permissions to Foretrenty (the Skyrim NPC editor author). I tried to contact him with two emails, but gmail says that is not able to deliver the mails.. What should I do? I'dd like to hear your opinions PS: in the readme I thanked Foretrenty for have created the NPC editor tool
jet4571
No you dont need permission to upload a mod made with the NPC editor. Fortrenty made it so people could make and upload mods before the CK was released. And if you send him a link I think he will be happy to see it. TheDarkPrince
That is enought. Lets make an example. I used OSCAPE third party to create the LODS of my world. I dont have to ask permission to upload the mod, I just have to say "Thank you OSCAPE team".You can upload it and thank the person that helped you with his program! Dont worry! DavideMitra
Thank you so much guys! That's the same thing I was thinking: NPC editor is a tool created for create mods, you don't have to ask permissions in order to share a modHowever, this is my first mod ever, I only asked for beeing cautious...I was fearing about a possible ban, but, as I can see, I don't have to worry about xDSometimes I think too much xD Thank you again, bye!!
