traceguy
Using Assault troopers for example, I open up the VisualUnlockRootAsset for a rebel assault trooper on the Death Star. I try to Change Haken (default) with say...the niko version. When I do, the head and hands are invisible in the game. If I try to go further and change the default assault model to the default specialist model, I get the voice and clothing of a specialist, but the face and hands are still invisible. Am I missing something, or did EA disable this? Is there a user manual for Frost Editor, because I can't seem to find anything when Googling. EDIT: I can replace the default Assault trooper with a hero.... But I can't seem to replaced him with skins from any of the main classes Edited August 19, 2018 by traceguy
traceguy
Resolved I think the thing I was messing up was the Identifier for "default skin". It should point to a skin in the array. If you correctly setup the identifiers, and bpb names, but the default skin Identifier doesn't point correctly, you will endup with an invisible body. To anyone reading, note the default skin identifier doesn't need to be touched unless you are modifying the default skin.Say if I wanted to change skin 2 f the specialist to be skin 1 of the assault class. You wouldn't need to change the ID for default skin identifier. In the image below I put together a sample that would put skin05 of the specialist to the skin01 for assault., Doing the minimum number of changes.I should now be able to change any of the skins I want for now.
