So, I've got this weird issue that just cropped up on me (lvl 29), right after entering Elianora's Breezehome for the first time (the mod had been installed for a while). I bought the place so I could park Lydia in there; my main home being White River Cottage in Riverwood. Anyway. The next time I went to Whiterun this is what I found at the gates.

So I Fast Travelled inside the walls and everything was fine.

But the last time I went there, there was a stalking dead dragon at the door. When I went to 'markfordelete' it, I fell into the floor, so to speak.

Notice how most of the textures are gone? I use JK's All-in-One mod + Dawn of Skyrim (and patches), plus a separate texture pack for Whiterun. Anyone has any idea what might be causing this?

First the " dead dragon following / falling " is a common bug in Skyrim. I simply use console command: disable.

 

I have a feeling w/your other issues, it might be a load order issue? Did you try LOOT?

 

If I am viewing your picture correctly, you are using the same mods I am and I have no issues. So that is why I'm thinking a Load Issue .....

 

JKSkyrim should go as far to the top of the load order as is possible.

Yes I found a ported mod that fixes the dragon stalking thing. As for the load order.

I don't think it's that. I mean it's been looted, I've got a merged patch and a bashed patch. I started a new game a there is no issue. So it's something that got corrupted I guess.

Okay, you are so not going to like what I have to say, and it may or may not work.

 

POINT: I do not have enough fingers and toes to tell you how many people have had no small issues with SexLab.

 

Understand I could care less what and how people play their games ... that's their game. When I help, I look for solutions and such, not ' guilt trips '.

 

SexLab is one of those Mods that can create no small issues, even like what you are experiencing, to random and annoying CTD's and such. Yes, SexLab can do that, because of how it might be set up to operate in your game. I had one player in Oldrim who found, SexLab removed all the DOORS in Whiterun and Solitude. He proved this, in that when he started a new game, all the doors were there. When he re-activated SL ... the doors were gone.

 

I have no answer, other than it was truly very strange. He was frustrated, but ... as I am fond of saying, " .. it is what it is ... "

 

He did find that he had to start a clean game from the start without SL, to have the door issue fixed.

 

Next, I would still try to move JK Skyrim up as far as NMM will allow it to go..... if it is already, then we will look at other options, as I do not wish to overload you with options right now. :)
