Glion
I'm running the latest version of skyrim (not the 1.6 beta, the one before 1.5.something something.5) and was surprised today in whiterun when Bergritte Battle-Born strated talking and was a sentence I never heard before about "Esvin Unslad" and "war unending"... Attempts to make her repeat the speech failed, but I do remember that name and the part about war unending.... Coud this be the name of the main antagonist of Dawnguard? That one guy from the trailer? That reminded me about the "Zoe Gold" speech line from Sinmir, at the Bannered Mare...."Ulfric doesn't know what he has gotten himself into, Zoe Gold is on the prowl." If I recall correctly... Could that be the leader of the Dawnguard? Because that would mean that ulfric and the vamps would be connected... but I digress.... Have any of you come across Berfrittes line? And if so, what do you think about it? And for the reccord, I did a search on the name Esvin Unslad and nothing came up... Deleted1308005User
Harkon is the vampire lord in dawnguard, though, he might be character in dawnguard. Gonna try search info about that person.
BrettM
What Bergritte says is "evgir unslaad", which is an expression in dragon language meaning "season unending". This expression comes down from the ancient Nords and is just a way of saying "war".
Glion
Hmm, I was sure she said Esvin, but like i said, I might be wrong, I barely noticed the line....
