Alkizar
Hello everyone, So I am starting a new PC build and, while it will be primarily for gaming (1440p), I want to also use it to start making mods of my own as a hobby. I am particularly interested in creating unique environments and items at first, but also want to at least dip my toes in all other aspects. Would a 2700x or 8700k be better for this build? I do not know if modding tools are single or multi-core usage heavy. Also any general advice for someone getting started as a hobby is greatly appreciated. Guest deleted2630050
I could be wrong here, but I think creating unique environments would be something that's more GPU dependent than CPU dependent. And at 1440p, you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference (if any) in terms of gaming. So really, which ever CPU you choose should do just fine.
