JackofBlades1313
If you dont mind that would be awesome! I would hope you wouldnt fix it for me I would really like to understand how to do things right so I can hopefully make more mods in the future. I really appreciate it! N7R
I found the issue after opening up the file in CK. Open your weapon and on the art/sound tab there is a category called 'Model' you have a custom dummy receiver nif file added here. Since the dummy you placed in here has attach points and meshes it is overriding any other object mods you add to it. By default vanilla and modded weapons use a base one: Weapons\HandMade\Recievers\DummyReciever.nif If you open up for example submachine gun or assault rifle you can copy that directory for its dummy. You will never need to update this file path again. This should resolve that issue for your object mods not being able to be switched. Your next challenge will be lining all the parts up. I noticed once I removed the dummy it showed the actual mod pieces and they were all exploded apart for eachother. You'll need to go into nifskope and zero out all the attach points in the receiver OR you can move each attachment's nif file around.
JackofBlades1313
Wow never would have guessed that was the issue. I will correct that and try and line the nifs up. Thank you again for sharing your wisdom and taking the time to help me!
