Rodsengard
Hey, I have tried to change a light armor set into clothing, just by flagging. I have changed the flags inside +-GRUP--(Armor), BODT, Armortype from light Armor into Clothing. Saved, put into game, started Skyrim.Alright, no Armor-value, if I place cursor onto it ingame, but still it seems to count to any armortype. How do I know? Well I am using a mod which changes the light-armor-tree in two parts, light armor and unamored. Ich I wear this "cloth" I get no armor value, as I´d have it wearing nothing.BUT if I wear a simple other dress I get the advantage of unamored. Do I have to change another subrecord to have a REAL clothing? thanks in front for your help
flobalob
Why on earth would you NOT use the dropdown box on the armor item in the CK?
Rodsengard
Why on earth would you NOT use the dropdown box on the armor item in the CK? Thank you for your answer but since there are so many mods and so perfect tools to manipulate them, I didn´t see the ovious.Though my Question still remains: How is it technically? Which subrecords have to be changed, too? Maybe it is the basicform, which tells the program "this is armor"?
gasti89
There are no subrecords in CK. Maybe you're talking about TESVNip or SkyEdit? Just use the CK, there's only a dropdown to change.

You got it. I want to try via TESV Snip. Want to know, what has to be changed in behind.Someone has an answer?^^
gasti89
Since that drop down hasn't got a label in the CK i don't know wich subrecord is associated with. Also i think there will be hex codes since you don't have to type something but just select from the dropdown. I can't catch why you don't want to use the CK. It's a matter of 1 minute. I cuold look at stuff already set as cloth and look for differences.
