Swordbreakers

I did a search for this and so far, nothing posted as far as I can see.

Parrying daggers were used as offhand weapons, mostly for blocking or ''parrying" purposes. Being lighter than a shield, they could take it's place(though not as good at defending yourself).

A swordbreaker was just such a weapon. Coming in both dagger and even shortsword models, it was designed to actually 'catch' an opponents sword on it's "teeth". The teeth were actually notches cut into the sword. A chance of twisting the sword once it was caught in the notches could, with a deft twist of the hand, break an opponent's sword, although this didn't happen that often(maybe a 10% chance of breaking?). However, catching the sword in it's teeth could slow down the swings of your opponents.

I'd like to see one of these!

I include a link to a site with a description of the sword, as well as a photo:

yes, it's primarily an offhand weapon. I guess it would be used for the Ambidextrie or like mods.

Would anyone else be interested in this?
