jet4571
Tried a search on this. i am trying to make a painting with wood frame for a mod, have it all done and it looks good in Nifskope but when I add it to the CK and in game it is solid black with bumps from the normal map. anyone knows what causes it? what hidden setting in Nifskope that needs to be done? @edit Jeir suggested this.. the painting has bewbies in it. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/JET-WTF/2012-06-04_00001.jpg The wood on the ceiling is the same texture used for the frame. LittleBaron
The BSShaderProperty is calling for vertex colors when there are none. Either Untick the 'Vertex Colors' box from the pulldown on the BSShaderProperty node shown belowhttp://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p76/lesfleursmal/VertexColors3.jpg Or set the 'Has Vertex Colors' In the NiTriData node from 'no' to 'yes'.http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p76/lesfleursmal/VertexColors1.jpg
DeadxPixels
I'm having similar problems with an armor set I added in.. it shows up fine in inventory (well.. it's skewed, but textures are great) but on my player, they're just black/grey textureless. But, using sexchange fixes the textures until I unequip it =/ They were working correctly when it was just a armor replacer.. Edit: OOohhh,, I got them backwards.. Edited June 5, 2012 by DeadxPixels

Either Untick the 'Vertex Colors' box from the pulldown on the BSShaderProperty node shown belowimage Or set the 'Has Vertex Colors' In the NiTriData node from 'no' to 'yes'.image I had the vertex colors set to "no" in the NiTridata after the first test when it was set to "yes" and didn't work, but you were correct on the vertex colors being set in the BsShader being the problem. unticked that in the pulldown verified the others were set to no and checked in the game.... http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f257/JET-WTF/2012-06-05_00001.jpg Now I need to finish the rest of the 4 paintings and lower that one down a bit on the wall since it is too high lol. Thanks for the help, Kudos to you!
