kenmorlock
I will post a picture as soon as I reinstall modsIts really weird....I ran a system check wondering if its my graphics card thats about to die, talked to dell, reinstalled everything to the laptop after resetting the laptop as if it was brand new....and still the problem remains. At the start of the game when your wearing the clothshirt...it sometimes turns black but is not the shirt...its the skin texture thats black and shirt is gone....but the shirt reappears when im in the shadows...but also theres discoloration with seams on arms and legs front and back...places it wasnt doing that before. The only seam issues I ever had was basic...wrists,ankles,neck....that was it. now inside thigh and arms and legs.It looks very patchy everywhere.....I had that issue with the Triss companion mod and the race needed to run it....so I uninstalled it...now no matter what I do it remains the same issue. Im not blaming the mod in anyway....but its just weird...will do a pic later today of issue. Dell is saying its not the computer and said the laptop just doesnt run Oblivion well.....this is my third laptop with issues from Dell and all of them ran Oblivion flawlessly....untill now...Dell is the worst! nisen
killjoy much! people are always gonna mock laptops for gaming, and people still buy them for gaming oblivious to it so've you been testing the problem on an unmoded game? cant really tell from your description. You can get errors like that with corrupted savegames after uninstalling mods or archive invalidation or load order issues
Rennn
If you have an actualy video card in the laptop, I would suggest replacing it with a newer one. If you have a chipset (mobile "video card"), it might not support some of Oblivion's effects and you can't replace those. I suppose you could try running as an admin though, that always solved minor problems for me. Now I just have Oblivion and everything related to it set to run as an admin.
