Patrograd Posted March 6, 2004 Share Posted March 6, 2004 Finally, after a long time in the workshop, DeathTrap Dungeon is released and available for download from the 'dungeons' section of this site's mod database. It is set in and below the village of Fang, situated on an island a considerable distance South of Vivec. (2,-34) This village has for it's governor one Baron Sukumvit, banished to this backwater for practising Necromancy. Unsstisfied with his lot, he built beneath the village a massive labyrinth, packed with deadly traps and even deadlier monsters. On the day the dungeon was completed, Sukumvit sent in ten of his best guards, fully armoured up and with the best weaponry available. None of them were ever seen again. News of these unfortunate guards soon spread around the Empire, and soon a steady stream of adventurers arrived at the village wishing to try their hand and make their fortune by beating Sukumvit's dungeon. None of them have ever been seen again either to claim their 10,000 GP reward, but Sukumvit and his villagers dont mind, as not only do all these adventurers bring much needed commerce to the island, they also pay a 2,000 Drake entry fee. As nearly 1,000 have already been slaughtered in the dungeon's murky depths this year, the economy of the once sleepy village is now thriving, to put it mildly. One day as you are approaching Vivec, you meet near the Silt Strider an adventurer who tells you of this legendary dungeon. As no man, woman or creature has ever survived an encounter with you before, you realise that this is the perfect opportunity to further enhance your growing reputation and make a quick buck to boot. You catch a boat from the newly expanded Vivec docks, and arrive in the village of Fang......the rest of the story only you can know.....
