DarkSh4de Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 I am thinking of making a return to Oblivion. Played Oblivion through when it were bran new. Since then there has been made a lot of mods, that make the game replayable and even better. Only problem is there are so many of them. I have few ideas, what I would like, but don't know do they exist or work properly. First four mods would make the game go more towards good old Morrowind. 1. Get rid of all seeing guards. How they know I stole something without actually seeing it happen. 2. Get rid of all knowing merchants. How can someone tell something is stolen without a shadow of a doubt. (Would not want to play again with a thief character, just to be able to sell stolen items). 3. Get rid of the genie compass system. How the ingame compass always knows where you should go next, and were special places are. I think it ruins the fun of finding things on your on. (I don't need nobody to hold my hand while playing). 4. Get fast travel changed to more normal travel options, like boats, silt strider etc... 5. A house mod. Already owned all orginal houses of the game. Best one I have found so far is: Bravil Sea Domes. (My favourite house mod in Morrowind was Secluded Hide-out). 6. Better inventory. Keys, stones, ingridients and other small stuff, that your inventory gets filled off would be on their own separate places. 7. Anything else you might have enjoyed, that doesn't: - Make the game easier.- Add suff, that doesn't belong/fit/blend well in the original game. Like for an example Tekken/Final Fantasy style weapons and armours (this is purely an matter of opinion). If you have suggestions or solutions to any above, please help.
