CTD on even WALKING through the Market District

Recently, I've run into a bit of a pickle, and I've not been able to narrow down which mod is causing the issue.

Whenever I enter the Market District and move away from the entryway beyond a few feet (I seem to be able to safely talk to the nearest guards if I don't venture too far from the door), Oblivion crashes to the desktop within a minute.

I've disabled all recently-added mods with no success in preventing the crash.

Sometimes just walking causes the CTD, sometimes a jump, sometimes hitting T to wait, sometimes opening a container, sometimes a door, sometimes talking to PJ, etc, etc, sometimes just STANDING STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRIGGIN' STREET.

I have a sneaky suspicion the issue may have something to do with actions which trigger sound, though I know of no way to truly test this (I can't very well just tell everyone in the Market District to shut up, can I?).

I've tried entering at different times of the day, with and without Sonia and Talitha tailing me, running, walking, flying; the result is always the same: CTD.

I fast-traveled to the prison, ran around on the bridge for 5-10 minutes, jumped, flew, talked to my companions, made them taste steel, no crash.

I went inside the King And Queen Tavern and waited 3 game days, then tried the Market District again: CTD.

My character race is a Flying Demon (Chingari & Ismelda's Demon Race).

This is baffling me, and I really wish Oblivion would at least tell you by which ESP file the CTD was being triggered.

Full disclosure: I run over 300 mods simultaneously, but only one major overhaul (Francesco's).

Does anyone have any recommendations of what else to try, or know of a way to make Oblivion actually log a crash reason?

I can't recall the exact day I was last in the Market District without issue, but it was within the past week.

I recently deleted all of my savegames prior to 7/29.

...none of which conflict, and none of which I expected to be updated again any time soon. I was wrong about Crystal Clear Weapons and Armor; it was updated pretty soon thereafter, so I have the newer ESP loading after this one. All of this was done well before the CTDs began.

Nevermind, I guess... it seems to have resolved itself after I spent some time in the TestingHall, then COC'd straight to ICMarketDistrictTheBestDefense. Upon leaving The Best Defense, the CTD's haven't returned. *shrug*

So...anyone know how to fix it if you can't coc into the store (Oh I can coc into the basement...but trying to enter the store part crashes it just like coc'ing into the main shop or trying to open the door from the outside...) and still can't enter after a few game days have passed?

I haven't been able to track down an armor mod that's sold (that I added) at the store that I don't already have (and I think only the dark crusader mega pack) and the only companion I found that loads there, the store still crashes when I take her out (Rika I think it was, from Companion Chocolate Elves).

 

Edit: Eh...turns out wyre bash glitched or I checked something that re-enabled them. I noticed the companions were still loaded later when I went to re-patch after adding something else.
