Having trouble with nexus mod manager

I had just finished reinstalling Fallout New Vegas onto a different drive (from D: to C:) and I opened up Nexus Mod Manager to enable my mods I already had before I reinstalled. so I got to the game select screen on the NMM launcher and chose Fallout New Vegas, it came up with an error message that said

"You are missing D:SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Fallout New Vegas/Data/falloutnv.esm Please verify you game install to Ensure D:SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Fallout New Vegas/Data/falloutnv.esm is present.

I already Verified my game cache like it told me to do and nothing happened. And I also re scanned installed games on NMM which did nothing. I don't know why it needs a file from my D: drive because its not installed there anymore. Is there anything to fix this?

for reference here is the game selection screen and the error message

sorry if i did something wrong its my first time using the forums.

You need to re-install NMM as it is still using the registry information from the previous install of the game to D:. When you say you reinstalled the game, did you uninstall it from the previous location first? You might get away with just selecting "Rescan Installed Games", but I don't use NMM and cannot say for sure.

There are a number of threads on this subject on the Internet, but a quick sampling after searching on "move NMM to another drive", this one seems the most straightforward. You can ignore that it is talking about FO4. The process will be the same regardless of the game.
