Renaming In Game NPC's and Objects

Hi fellow FO4'ers i have been trying to find a way of renaming in game npc's and world objects for a while now,i used to play FO3 and was able to do so via console command but it seem's in FO4 that function isn't available.

So i found a mod which allows you to create item's at the Chem station,basically name tag's,which you place in an npc's inventory and as long as you can make them equip the ''nametag''then they are that name going forward.

Well that pretty much covers human npc's but when it comes to objects such as,for instance,a Vault Locker that i wish to name as ''My Locker'' then I can't do that.

First I found a mod called Rename Anything that no matter how I tried wouldn't function in my game so I went back onto Nexus and found this mod:- Snike - Terminal Tools v2 with Rename Anything which I installed via NMM,went into game,set up the mod,equipped the rename item/ring from my inventory,approached the locker to be named but no interaction took place,the option to rename is there but no type function/keyboard function occurred.

What I was hoping for was if anyone has used this mod and encountered the same problem and if so did they find a fix or work around that they would be willing to pass on.

Just out of curiosity you don't still have any of those mods now do you?

Hey Smartguy1 196 sorry for the late response to your reply but I clean forgot about my query.

Yes I am still running those mods and the ''nametag''mod works very well but your limited to naming NPC's only.

Rename Anything just doesn't work in my game at all so objects such as lockers and containers have to remain as named,i'm not smart enough to figure out why and have to accept it as is.
