Josephrose
I saw an old thead where a guy was confused about backing up files. Being a computer dummy myself, I felt his pain. It is very easy, just open Data file in skyrim where the original file is. (file search if u don't know) Then right click on your mod, and Copy. Then right click your desktop. Paste. Rename it, or better, just add the word "Backup" Now drag this new file into the Data folder. You now have Backup. It will not update, but if you mess things up, you can at least start from that point. I have even done this while I have the project open, and it seems to not matter. Just be sure to save first. If you have a neat Home/Cave/Whatever do NOT begin Navmesh, or adding NPCs and Quests without backing up! Every step yo take forward, there is a chance you could break the whole thing, or accidentally boggle vanilla files you never meant to touch. Often by the time you realise you messed up, it's very hard, or impossible to fix.
