CrazyShadowDami
title says it all. i had t uninstalled the game( long story), i keept the saves, but forgot to backup the mods. is there anyway to check for previusly installed mods. the only way i know is that skyrim, when loading a save, notifies you that some features are missing, so i know that i miss something, but i dont know what. im pretty shure i installed atleast 90% of mods that i had, as i still didnt check my save. any idea? xlcr
@CrazyShadowDami, probably this:First Person Horse Riding by Dan Caldwell - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10122NOTICE - 6/1/12 - the newest patch (1.6) makes this mod completely unusable. A workaround has not yet been discovered.

xlcr
@CrazyShadowDami, damn ah well nice try! my guess is either your savegames were based on a previous patch version which is conflicting withwhat you're running now (being a fresh Skyrim v1.5/1.6beta install); or, you installed loose files or BSA archive HD texture packs, animation nif tweaks, sound files or scripts that do not require an ESP or ESM plugin file so they do not show up in the savegame scanner's lists. There are other more comprehensive utilities available if you're still determined to salvage your old savegame, perhaps:Wrye Bash by Wrye Bash Team - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1840 Any chance the old 'DLCList.txt' or 'plugins.txt' files still exist in your systemdrive?
