daringmerlin
Ok so i want to download a mod that requires me to change a line in my FO4.ini,the new line when added will read thus:- sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, sound\, textures , at the moment the line in my FO4.ini reads thus:- sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, INTERFACE\, SOUND\, MUSIC\, VIDEO\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\, so do I delete the existing line and replace with the new,add the new to the end of the existing line, add the new line directly underneath the existing line or just not bother with the mod altogether,it's just a reskin for Dogmeat, but to me he'd look cool in the new skin. Reading the existing .ini line it seem's to me that sound\,textures\, already exists,i really don't want to go ahead and alter anything without seeking advice first so any advice anyone can put my way will be gratefully received. WastelandAssassin
I don't think you need to change anything , as all of the mentioned archives are already in the existing linejust install the mod and disregard that part of the instructions . once you test the mod you can see if everything is fine (which I believe it will be)
daringmerlin
Hey WastelandAssassin thank's for the quick get back,i did feel that the existing line contained all that was needed but being the over cautious person that I am I thought better safe than sorry,so I will indeed try the mod and see if all goes well, thank's again.Kudos.
