pheroux
Hi, Does the order patches are loaded matter? For example, PluginAPluginBPluginB - Patch for PluginA If PluginB has a patch for working together with PluginA, then does this patch need to be loaded after both PluginA and PluginB, or does it not matter? Thanks, -Philippe
QuagaarWarrior
Yes load the patch after the mods it patches. Unless the patch mod page tells you otherwise in which case just do what the mod page tells you
pheroux
Hi, I understand the patch needs to be loaded after the mods it patches but does it also need to be loaded after the mod it's patched for? For example; AFT - Amazing Follower TweaksRDO - Relationship Dialogue OverhaulRDO - AFT Patch Final I don't want to have to reorder my plugins every time after I rerun LOOT. If I look at the metadata for the RDO - AFT Patch, LOOT already has it specified to load after RDO. But, do I need to tell it to also load after AFT? Like so: Finally, going a step further. Does RDO need to be loaded after AFT, since a patch exists to patch RDO for AFT? Basically, should the exact load order be like this? 1. AFT - Amazing Follower Tweaks2. RDO - Relationship Dialogue Overhaul3. RDO - AFT Patch Final Thanks, -Philippe
TonyOQuinn
Yes, in general as in this case. I would edit the LOOT meta data of both RDO's so they will always come after AFT, and the patch like your screenshot. Normally the newer mod should load second, and patches should be loaded last, but there are many exceptions. I have to read the description of every mod and patch to decide how to arrange the order. Even then it's not 100% error-free. Edited August 29, 2018 by Tony_OQuinn
