Frustrated with Dragonfire Trade and Transport

I did a careful clean install in the last several days, and everything is working great except I have two issues, one with Dragonfire Trade and Transport that's really bugging me.

 

After reinstalling everything, and loading my savegame, I keep getting a "quest style" message that tells me I'm now half owner and I should go find the deed upstairs in the Main Office. Sorry that's a paraphrase of the message.

 

Anyway, last night I looked at the mod in the CS, and I couldn't find any quests associated with the mod, and there certainly haven't been any quest activities associated with DT&T at all in my active or completed quest lists even before I did the reinstallation.

 

The issues I had when I reinstalled were not in any way related to this mod but I had screwed up one of my most recent backup and it was irreparable, so that was the main reason I wanted to carefully reinstall everything, the way I like it, and without loading any mods that I've tried and discarded.

 

I have the Deed in my possession, so why isn't it recognized? Also the employee at the main office, Seeka, got a little hostile with me saying I had to leave because she needed to lock up, so she's not recognizing my "ownership" either, however the salary in the owner's chest is continuing to spawn.

 

It kind of looks like there was a possibility of a quest in the works, because there's a "restoration project" in the market district, but with no quest there's no way to complete it.

 

At any rate I just want to stop the message all the time. It's getting really annoying.

I wanted to mention the solution that worked for me.

 

There is a script attached to the key, unfortunately there is no quest.

 

The script was playing over and over, because there was no next move.

 

Also the script is very wordy, about three lines across a widescreen in fact.

 

I simply disabled the script from the key, saved, and all is well.
