I cant seem to get some of the mods I downloaded to work... I have put them in the override file as instructed. But no go. So, I then downloded the mod manager thinking that might help but still no go! The only mods that seem to be working are the dazip files...

I am trying to get a mod that will enhance my chatacter creation. As a note, I am using a downloaded version of DA) (Origin). I was able to effectively use these mods previously when I had the game on PC disc..

Thoughts, suggestions ideas?

Almost all mods that affect the Character Creator (CC) process require that the "CharGenMorpgcfg.xml" (CGMC) file be edited to reflect the additional resources the mod provides. The mod author should have provided the needed material in a ".xml" file along with the mod. ("Tucked Hair" is well known for being a problem because that additional file is a separate download. )

Editing the CGMC can be done by hand, and there are instructions for doing so here: Installing Cosmetic Mods for Dragon Age.

But I have used TerraEx's excellent utility "CharGenMorph Compiler" for years now.

Saves me no end of trouble!
