Body slot "problem"

So, I tried to enchant my wa mask from the wa masks mod with conceal identity from the mod sneak tools however, it doesn't allow me to do that since its a the mask is in the circlet slot not the hat slot, can I convert the mask to fit into a hat slot, or can I change the enchantment so it fits hats and circlets

Note:CK is not working for me I can't turn off version control and it doasnt let me do anything with the ck
