ChampionOfHircine
I'd like to make an exterior set for buildings the same as the interior - a bunch of pieces I can fit together to make exactly what I want. I'd probably do this either by chopping up existing building models or by modifying the Imperial fort set, as it is the only exterior set that works this way. Or I might be able to modify the matching interior set. I also want to learn to make new weapon models like Jaysus Swords or Weapons of the 3rd Era. So what program would I use to do this and how do I learn to use it?
jet4571
3DS Max or Blender for the meshes themselves. PhotoShop Or Gimp for the textures. and Nifskope to finish the meshes and correct the texture filepaths. Max has a free student license, blender and Gimp are both freeware. photoshop costs money. To learn to use, google the name of the tool followed by tutorial and you will have more tutorials than you can shake a stylus at.
