How do I make Re-Textures Standalone Paints or Armours

I am trying to make a power armor use a re-texture for the shark paint as a standalone craftable paint or even a standalone power armor will be fine. This is for personal use at the moment but I plan on using the knowledge towards my mods.

 

First time around I got the pink no texture thing

Second time I got the base game texture

Third Time it was Black

Fourth and 100 more times it was the base game texture

 

What I have done:

Extracted the BAE files from Fallout 4

 

Created random folder on desktop with my renamed file structure

 

In xedit: Created new T60 Power Armour Chest and Armor Addon in for it then I added correct file paths. I also renamed them before so I added the new names to the file structure

 

Material Editor: Changed the file paths to be the correct ones

 

Nifscope: Changed the file paths to be the correct ones the textures do update on the object in nifscope

 

Added to data files

 

What am I doing wrong?
