stebbinsd
I can download mods manually, but not using NMM. If I do, it just takes me to a page saying that firefox doesn't understand the instructions. Is this a known bug? Are the site admins working on a fix? TonyOQuinn
I dont know about NMM, but when I move Mod Organizer to new location it breaks MO downloads. I have to re-register the nxmhandler so it can download mods. In the MO folder, I run nxmhandler.exe. Maybe NMM has a similar utility?
stebbinsd
NMM itself isn't the problem. It's my web browser. This is what I get every time I click the "download NMM" icon on any nexus mod:
stebbinsd
Here's some more information, in case it helps: When I switch to Google Chrome and try to download that way, I don't get an error page per se. But clicking the "download NMM" icon doesn't do anything. Meanwhile, if I'm in firefox and try to load it, the reason I get the aforementioned error page is because the web browser itself appears to take me to the webpage of "nxm://SkyrimSE/mods/12781/files/35829." I assume this was the metadata used by the NMM application to pull the mod data from the nexus server and subsequently install it into my game. But instead of sending these instructions to my NMM app, my web browser just takes me to that url as if it were any other webpage. How do I fix that? TonyOQuinn
Yeah that's the same error I get from Firefox when MO isn't registered to handle NXM. In another thread about this error, this seemed to work for some folks using NMM. 1. Close NMM2. Run NMM as admin3. Go to settings4. Uncheck and recheck the Associate with NXM URLs
