This crap happens everywhere, and a lot. They're just frozen in place and can't move or attack. They can talk, however, as demonstrated in the screen cap. xD

I've tired disabling all mods that alter anything to do with characters, animation, actors, or anything at all like that, and it hasn't been fixed. ALL of the forsworn in the area are frozen like that. Does anyone know?

By the way, my rig can run Skyrim easily, it isn't a hardware issue.

Here's my mod list.

I would try disabling the animation mods. or maybe something that would effect NPC's AI.

Try disabling Deadly Combat. looks like that may be the cause. I know for a fact that It should have to do with how the NPC's spawn and start using AI.

I was messing around with a mod and placed some NPC's in a cell without fully editing everything right, and that exact thing happened.

If you've already tried that, test it with a clean save. might have an issue with the save files. some things won't update right if you have already loaded them once before.

otherwise - I have no idea

Like I said, I've tried disabling all mods that effect NPC AI, including Deadly Combat and several others. However, I will try a clean save and see what happens with that. I suppose I will have to put my nose to the grindstone. Thank you for the quick reply and the assistance : )

I return with more information.

Turns out, Warzones - Civil Unrest, was the the culprit. The NPCs it spawns get stuck like that some how. Currently searching for a fix, let me know if you would already know how to fix it.

you would have to modify WARZONES and fix the issues it's causing. And I have not downloaded or used that mod, so I can't say for sure how to fix it. Post your issue in the author's comments section with the screenshot. he ought to know what to do. And if this is an issue for anyone else, the author can fix it with an update. Edited by xeightballx

I did so last night, I hope he sees my comments. Thank you for your help.

As it turns out, Warzones wasn't actually at fault here. Or, at least, it doesn't appear so.

I decided to uncheck all mods and test batches of mods at a time, starting with Warzones. I noticed that when WZ was the only mod running, there was no frozen enemies. So I continued to turn mods on in batches of five until I had them all on to find the conflicting mod, and the frozen enemies never returned. Odd.

My conclusion is that somewhere along the line, the order the mods were installed in and turned on in caused conflicts. MGE had guessed as such as well. I came here to let you guys know that it wasn't WZ on it's own causing any conflicts. Thanks for the help and if mods chose to they could close this thread as solved. Bye! : )
