AlphaWoIF
Ive got a custom creature rigged to a human skel and there habitat is to lurke in rivers and water courses where ever i choose to place them but i would really like them to lay in wait in the actual water crouched so they are almost submerged and hard to spot and can ambush you.So i ask how would i set this state on them in the ck as i have already placed them but they are just in the standing pose.thnx Edited June 8, 2012 by AlphaWoIF
Ravelair
I would think that you have to select a correct AI package created by yourself or taken from another NPC who stays at crouch at some point in the game. I know there was something like that but I cannot quite recall where it can be found. I will look into this.
steve40
In the Packages Flags tab there's an option to "always sneak".You could try package E3PatrolSneak. Edited June 8, 2012 by steve40

steve40
AlphaWolf, are there any good tutorials on how to rig custom meshes to existing skyrim skeletons? Cheers.
AlphaWoIF
i cant really say , apart from using google or youtube as i have never looked myself , i learned to rig elsewhere for a different game.you could give this section a look http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/522532-skyrim-tutorials/,but if your tool of choice is blender then i will be no help as i hate the program.my personal tip would be to start of small and work up to harder parts as you become more experianced.start with a simple helm really easy to do. then boots .Under the arms is one of the hardest areas but i find that riiging with a simple animations loaded like walking and running is the best way to do it as you get to see the results on the fly.
