Ertwander
Hello, my problem is: County Crossing gets overrunned by super mutants. I have now reached level 47 and i´m guessing that turned the two bloodbugs from a nearby spawn point at the opposite radiated ruins into hi-level super mutants. Talking about skirmishers, veterans and even legendaries. Needless to say, they make mincemeat of my settlement there (playing with the "mortal settlers" mod).Is there a way to stop this madness? instyne49
I've found that defending settlements from attacks, wastes a Lot of time. I hate having to stop exploring, especially in Far Harbor and Nuka World, just to spend 10 minutes killing 5 or 6 raiders. I've found "Robot Home Defense" to be invaluable. It's mostly immersive if you have Automatron, and it's great to get a notification that such and such settlement was successfully defended, without having to help. It also is way more useful than using a mod slot to change a single location.
Ertwander
The thing is, it isn´t this "defend your settlement XY" that pops up randomly. I don´t get a notification. It´s just normal enemy spawn. If i stay at County Crossing to do some settlement build stuff and fight off the attackers with my power armor, they spawn up to 3 times a day! Over a day i lost all of my 8 settlers there, 3 of them as guards fitted with combat armor and hard-hitting guns. And yes, i also have several turrets there. But even heavy laser and rocket turrets are no match for a pack of 2-3 super mutant masters (one legendary).I don´t have Automatron because...well at first: i don´t like robots. And i think they are already overused in the game. But that´s just my personal taste/opinion. Others may like them, why not. For the screenshots; this is the position on the map: http://www.directupload.net/file/d/5202/q245c764_jpg.htm These are the ruins (seen from County Crossing): http://www.directupload.net/file/d/5202/gr28d33y_png.htm And maybe that´s the spawn point: a deceased brahmin ( would make sense, given the original spawn are two bloodbugs) http://www.directupload.net/file/d/5202/63im3d4k_png.htm
PhanomGames
The only thing I see there is a leveled bloodbug actor, that shouldn't spawn any super mutants... What other mods are you running?

PhanomGames
I think I see what's going on here, although I can't reproduce it myself, especially since you saw a legendary there. At the satellite array, there's a wild mongrel spawn, I think it may be in range to sometimes wander over towards the super mutants, and possibly the fight shifted over to there. You said it happens multiple times, have they ever came from the direction of the satellite array? It could be those ones go into a caution state and start walking over towards the settlement. I don't really see any other way for this to occur other than that, or a broken workshop attack script.
Ertwander
Sadly, the muties come from the other side (where the bloodbugs should spawn). It´s all quiet on the side of the satellite array. Maybe it´s a random encounter, which is somehow always triggered if i´m there? And, btw, that "caution state" you mention is a real headache to me. Not only at CC, but all settlements which have seen attacks the settlers stay in this alert mode infinite. I´m not quite sure, but i think this behaviour came around more ore less the same time CC gets constant attacks by super mutants. I also have now CTDs every 2-3 hours or so, not too bad. But in the past my game was running absolutly stable. I´m fearing a faulty script by now.
