[LE] creating custom clothing mods

So I was really hoping someone could explain to me how to make my own custom clothing mods i am a beginner and am very desperate to learn I have so many wonderful ideas but don't know how to create them and i am frustrated i can't seem to find a tutorial on how to create custom clothing PLEASE HELP <3 Thank you all Ideas are welcome :)

Depends on what you mean. Do you want to create new clothes from the scratch (new meshes, new textures) or only change properties of clothes in the game?

 

If you want to create new clothes from the scratch, you will need NifSkope (as far as I know this is necessary), but I heard you can play with Blender too. There are plenty of tutorials how to make meshes for Skyrim. Then you will have to make textures for them - you can use Gimp for that (or some similar programs that can read dds files).

 

This is all I can tell you right now since I'm also a beginner and I have just gathered tutorials to learn from them :P

 

Good luck with your mods if you really start making them! Gods know we need more original clothing in Skyrim ;)

I want to start from scratch for making clothing mods can you use creation kit? thank you for your ideas :)

Considering your just starting out I suggest you start small and just retexture a few of the existing clothing items.
Anyone with Paint or a similar graphic editing tool can retexture but to make a 3D model requires a special program and some knowledge in the field.

 

Again considering your starting out I suggest you get accustomed with xEdit and stay away from the CK for now.
For what you wanna do xEdit is more than enough and is much simpler to navigate.
