ty2191
My problem ended up being with Encounter Zones Unlocked SE. Do you use that? (Since it doesn't have an esp, it doesn't show up on your load order.) I updated to the new PapyrusUtil and the new Encounter Zones and High Hrothgar is again open to me. Now, if only Simply Knock SE would update, I'll be ready to play all of my characters again. :smile:dam. i didn't have it installed, but i tried it and installed the new version of papyrusUtil and still ctd every time i enter. i have really ran out of ideas :( but in a positive note i haven't found any other spots in about 60 hours of game play just stupid High Hrothgar

geobemis
Groovtama explains why High Hrothgar tends to crash in his third sticky on his posts page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1988?tab=postsi installed xp32 and all that it requires and still didn;t fix it  You misunderstood what he wrote mainly the last sentence. That any mod that listens to the OnObjectEquipped event and runs a lot of code will crash the game he only fixed it for XP32. It's up to the other mod authors to fix it on their end with there mods.In other words you got a mod that is listening to that event. But since you installed XP32 you better wait tell you're done with your current play through if you decide not to keep it as that's not a mod that can be removed or disabled mid-game wish you would've waited for clarification if you were unsure of what he meant.Unless you have Save to fall back to from before you installed XP32 and it's requirements but if you've already played 60 hours with it (unless I'm mis-understanding when you installed it) or you could just play around with it maybe you'll like it. As for me I only use it for the *cough* titty jiggles so I only have the bare minimum requirements or the General use requirements. OgamiGoro
Going by what Groovtama explained (see above link), I did ask him for clarification. He's actually fixed the issue with his mod, but he reiterated that any mod that adds models and textures to the game can cause this ctd at High Hrothgar.I've confirmed this by disabling all my mods that add models to the game. I started a new test character with a new save, and sure enough I was able to enter High Hrothgar. I'm still re-enabling these mods one by one to see which one is causing the ctd for me, but it may be different for you, since everyone's mod lists are different. But I can confirm it's not XP32. The mods that add models, textures, and skeletons (that I DIDN'T have before when HH worked) on MY list are: Schlongs of Skryim (and all its relevant patches) RaceMenu RacialBodyMorphs FG c** Effect Coins of Tamriel (and all its patches) Skyrim Bridges Convenient Carriages Covered Carriages Karthwasten - Let the Silver Flow Riverside Shack RaceMenuMorphsSo far, I can confirm it's not RaceMenu, Racial Body Morphs, or Race Menu Morphs. I'll update once I isolate the cause for MY ctds.*****Update*****For my mod list, it was Schlongs of Skyrim and its plugins. Disabling them allows HH to function normally.
