Skyrim DLC Ideas...

It would be cool if they added some sort of MULTIPLAYER area where players could set up a private match and face off against each other, or team up and fight waves upon waves of monsters together. Its not like they haven't had multiplayer in previous games (Battlespire) and it would be a good beta test for elder scrolls online. All they would have to do is disable console commands and mods in such an area to keep it fair.

That would be cool. Multiplayer arena battles that don't intefere with the single player games. With leaderboards and everything. There could be prizes, such as original armor and weapons and items that you can take into your single player game, and gold that can be used in single player. And players can watch fights and bet gold from their single player games on them.

Yes it would be very interesting to see solstheim, now that there's many dunmer refugees there.

It's also probably the easiest way to give us a taste of this eras morrowind without having to remake the entire place.

It'd be fun, because knowing dunmer, what little is left of the great houses would probably still fight with eachother. Oh and maybe you could meet Divayth Fyr, I'm sure he's still around.

Yeah, i already think about this, the thalmor invading Cyrodill and we go there to defend it, and they could put all Tamriel in one game too.

And man, that idea of being in a ship and fighting sea monsters is awesome!

Wow, Someone thinks one of my ideas is awesome. That doesn't happen very often XD

Edit- Silly thing had a 'Bad Gateway' and wiped out my post and left only the quote! So...

I like this idea for a DLC! Unreal did it with Unreal Tournament and was blown away with the response that it got. Beth had an Arena in Oblivion and for some reason didn't include it in Skyrim. My hope is that maybe they have plans to make it a DLC. I hope. There are endless possibilities and examples/themes to choose from. Maybe we should start a petition to Beth? I want one so bad I'm even willing to...beg!?!:ermm:

Single player or Multi-player I don't care. Just do it!

To the OP: I like all of your ideas! But especially #3!

Todd Howard (Bethesda game director) mentioned in a recent interview he likes the idea of adding sea monsters to Skyrim.

Seems a shame Skyrim's Sea of Ghosts northern coastlines are so empty with just a few wrecks, bandit camps, and quest locations.

By the way, Howard also mentioned selecting Dawnguard/vampires for a DLC was not in response to what the user community wanted,

Dawnguard is actually something different that they wanted to do.

Perhaps a return to Morrowind's ransacked lands in order to stop some guy trying to find the remains of the battle between Nerevarine and that other guy with the mask?
