Invisible Trolls - help requested

Hey everybody,

 

I have a problem with my Skyrim setup that has made all the normal trolls invisible (I believe frost trolls still show up, but it's been a while since I've seen one). They still exist and attack and can be hurt, but it seems as if the texture is missing. I am using Bethesda's official HD texture pack and that doesn't seem to be the problem. Using a clean save with no mods I can see the trolls, so I believe it must be a mod I am using. I have tried disabling any mods I thought to be logical to affect trolls, but it sill does not show up.

 

I am prepared to use my clean save and check off every ESP and try them one by one to see what is causing the problem, but this will be tedious and time-consuming. In the hopes that someone already knows why this is happening or can identify which mod is causing this problem, I will post the BOSS printout of my mods. Also, if the problem is known and a solution to said problem is available, I would really like to know.

 

Until then I will wait until I have enough free time to troubleshoot each individual mod and try to find the culprit(s). Another alternative I thought of would be to download a mod that contains a re-texture for trolls and/or an updated mesh and copying only those files to my Data folder. The only one I can think of that might work would be Skyrim Monster Mod, but if anyone else knows of another or can tell me that this idea won't work, I would appreciate it greatly.

 

If I can't figure out any way to make it work, I might just have to deal with surprise invisible troll attacks; there aren't that many trolls in Skyrim. It just really pulls me out of the game when it happens . . . :(
