caucasian60
So I've been having a problem lately when playing Skyrim with an ENBseries mod. Often times the game will start up just fine, load my save just fine, and play for about 5 minutes just fine. But then after about 5 minutes it glitches and all the textures are mixed up on everything. It makes everything look extremely crazy. This only happen when I play Skyrim with ENB. The whole game runs fine with SSAO when its not having an LSD trip on me. Sometimes a whole texture of (for example) elven armor will cover the screen. Any help with my problem would be most appreciative. Thank you
cozymonk
How hot does your PC get when you use the ENB? Those artifacts look very similar to ones I would get when I, in my ignorant youth, overclocked a laptop graphics card and it would severely overheat (I stopped doing that pretty quick). Have you tried using another ENB? I don't use ENBs and don't know too much about them other than that they add post-processing effects. It just looks similar to artifacts I have seen from an overheated graphics card. Edited June 9, 2012 by cozymonk
caucasian60
I haven't measured the heat on the card but that was one of my suspicions. I haven't tried overclocking my card except for turning the fan speed up a bit. I'm running on a Geforce GTX 460. I was able to play for about 4-5 hours straight yesterday and as soon as I turned it on today it almost immediately started glitching.
caucasian60
This is a screenshot of the game actually running lol. The whole screen goes to this and changes pictures but you can still hear the character running and the environment.
