[Request] custom investigations -> no need for collecting tracks

Is there a way to add more investigations, maybe even target ones so we don't need to play the collect tracks minigame? Or go afk for 10 minutes and then collect tracks and quit and the like. I want to HUNT monsters, especially the ones I need not play those minigames and hope I get lucky.

 

I tried playing with others and collecting everything I find during those hunts, but I only get one investigation every 5-8 hunts (not many datapoints on this) and then it is a useless one...

 

Another approach would be to increase the weight/points for every track so one needs less tracks.

 

Or maybe add one optional quest for every TL 1-3 monster with average rewards so one does not have the best ratio but can farm them on demand.

I agree that farming for investigations can be quite tedious, I think another interesting option would be if one of the researchers had investigations that you could purchase using zenny or research points. Maybe being able to select a Tier of investigation and then it randomly assigns you one from that group? I feel like more people would be accepting of that than just walking up and buying a 4 box investigations for your target monster.

 

If they did make it so tracks were just more likely to give investigations making it so you could store more of them would also be nice.

i think both ideas have merit. i personally would love to be able to buy 5 box t2's for example
