Abhorsen Armour?

Hello! I am having a lot of trouble coming up with an appealing armour/clothes setup for my mage character, and the look I always imagine her in is similar to that of the armour of the Abhorsen, a character from the Old Kingdom series. It's a sort of field-mage look, practical but still magic-looking. Below are the best references I could find. I'd prefer the pattern to be more Elder Scrolls lore, but I love the combination of robe and chainmail sort of look. C: Plus, the Bandolier mod could easily add the bandolier across the chest for the bells look. Would anyone be interested in trying to do this, or also seeing this done? Thanks for your time!

I'm glad i'm not the only one who wants this. I started a thread just like this and it got like no support. But I can help you out slightly with the armor. Have you seen this armor? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5875

It does have the same look as the outfit that Sabriel wears. And they do have an option without the skull. Unfortunetly it's black, has runes and all necromancers will wear this. So unless you know a texture artist and a modder who can make a unique outfit only for the player..that's what you have to deal with.

As you said the bandolier mod works for the bells. As for the sword. I only saw one that might pass, and that's the Sword of the Seeker since it has glowy rune like symbols on the blade. Which would match the cover of the book if nothing else.

I'd like to get a better texture artist then myself interested in this, maybe have them make that armor blue with silver keys.

The retexture looks like College Robe or Expert Robe or possibly Master Robe. They are vanilla items and can be bought at Radiant Raiments or the Winterhold college. Some of them may require you to advance in the college.

Sorry that's only information I found trough google, my mage is not that advanced yet.

Just thought to let you know, 'cause the vanilla items have textures without skulls and deadric runes. ;)
