daseuter Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Hello, i need help with placing map markers in my new worldspace. I watched several tutorials on that matter and did it exactly the same but when i walk into the yellow circle nothing happens. My map markers doesn't even show up in the hudcompass, i don't get it. It seemed so easy, placing a mapmarker, check marker data, naming my new location, selecting an icon and then linking the mapmarker to a xmarkerheading. Nothing happens when i walk into that area. Did i miss something? Thanks in advance.
markyrocks Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I'd say go back and watch the tutorial again. Are you moving the plugin file from the user folder to the data folder? Is there any scripts or fragments involved? As far as I can tell the game wont read these files from the user folder. I always move my plugins to the data folder, scripts/fragments I put in Source.
SKKmods Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Mapmarker > LinkRef > XmarkerHeading is super-straightforward. If those steps are not working it is likely to be an issue with your Worldspace configuration (Location, world map offset data ?).
