altair90
Hello guys.I have a small question about the scripts folder on Skyrim. So, basically i want to know if i remove the .esp mods without delete the scripts this affect the game. I have thousands of them inside scripts folder but i don't remember which one affect to the mods(my fault). Maybe i need download the mods to know the scripts and delete them?. Thanks a lot. gasti89
Scripts shouldn't do anything if they aren't called by something, so without the esp calling them i think they would just be like readmes. I'm only guessing, not sure about that.
Ghaunadaur
Hello guys.I have a small question about the scripts folder on Skyrim. It depends on the scripts. If the scripts are new creations of the mod author, they will not be called without the .esp, as gasti89 said. If the scripts override some of the vanilla scripts they will always be used by the game. It can bug your game, break quests, etc. Better delete them (the .pex files, not the .psc). gasti89
I think the better way is to delete the whole scripts folder, then verify the cache of CREATION KIT (not Skyrim) via Steam. This will re-download all the vanilla scripts.
