Deleted49413338User
So I had a report on a mod i put out about missing textures. There were multiple areas of one mesh that hat no textures. the purple area was user error and wrong pathing to a material file I didn't include in the mod. But the black areas are to do with UV mapping. I noticed the hands in nifskope and fixed that.(yet to upload update) But, I tested all these models and when I got a misalligned UV map, it would show up as regular pink colour. I never got blacks. would that black be caused by something in particular, like I am using vanilla Ghoul textures then shuffling the UV maps.If the resolution of the textures is larger or smaller, would that affect uv maps that have had shapes moved? http://oi63.tinypic.com/ayxhl.jp
AGreatWeight
Is the user using a texture replacer for the ferals that is a different resolution to the vanilla ones?To the best of my knowledge, the UV's would depend on the vanilla resolution (2k) If you want to bump the textures up to 4k. you'd have to completely redo all the UV's beforehand. Is it just happening to the partially ghoulified one? Thirdstorm
I think That issue is more or less fixed in the update I sent you.. The black spots on the hands and the body are caused CBBE ghoul textures on a vanilla body, one of the things I did was hard map a unique material file pathed to vanilla textures in one of your folders. The purple face though.. Well not sure
