chazzee23
Hi, So I have started making a new mod for FO3, it will be a space lounge. My problem is that when ever I set up a door marker to teleport into the area I end up in the wrong place and I can not move apart from turning, I have tried everything to fix this inc - copy a cell items and placing in new cell, moving the door, trying a new door I am lost as to why this is happening, thank you in advance anyone that can help and credit will be given in final draft!....... prensa
chazzee23 - Hello! When you connect two doors in GECK, a yellow box with an arrow should appear at both doors. This yellow door marker often gets auto placed halfway imbeded in the door. If it's left that way you get stuck when using the door in game. You have to drag the yellow door marker to just in front of the door & make sure the pointy arrow bit is pointing away from the door in the direction you want the player to face when they come through. If you cannot see any yellow door marker by your doors, make sure you have Markers turned on. To do that, go to "View" at the top of GECK, select "Show/Hide Window" & make sure "Markers" is ticked. To make sure you connect to the correct door in the first place it's best to open the first door's info box by double clicking on it. Leave that open & go to the room that has the door you wish to connect to. Now when you set that first door with the open info box you can click on the right door in the room. You can find more instructions at the official GECK guide here: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Bethsoft_Tutorial_Finalize_and_Connect About halway down, under "Connecting the Doors". Hope this helps! Prensa

Prensa Thanks for your quick reply Prensa, but that is not my problem I have checked them in geck and they work fine are in the right place and teleport to the right place, also they are not imbeded in the door or any thing, I have made other mods and never came across this before, I was thinking it might be something to do with the cell that I duplicated but I have since copied all the cells items to another cell and still no joy???? Thanks for your reply though. Its ok problem solved it was to do with positioning I moved all objects and it now works fine thank you!
